Robert's Recipes - ANZAC Biscuits
Ingredients
- 400
grams sugar
- 200
grams coconut
- 180
grams rolled oats
- 260
grams plain flour
- 20
grams baking powder
- 100
grams of golden syrup
- 100
mls of hot water
- 250 grams
melted butter
Method
Combine all ingredients, mix in a mix master at low speed for one minute. Roll
mixture into marbles and flatten with a fork. Place about 15 on a large baking
tray (recipe makes about 60). Bake in a fan forced oven at 160 degrees Celsius
for 13 minutes.
HINT:
You can freeze the little marbles of mixture in the freezer and bake later. Just
defrost them and flatten them with the fork before you bake them.
