Ward's Canyon, the Moss Garden, and Aljon Falls have unique vegetation, including the rare King Ferns. Cathedral Cave and the Aboriginal Art Gallery have fine examples of Aboriginal stencil art. Platypus, possums, sugar gliders and rock wallabies, as well as numerous species of birdlife are seen here. Carnarvon Gorge Wilderness Lodge at the National Park offers fully refurbished Luxury Safari Cabins of canvas and timber to blend in with the bushland setting and wildlife. Each cabin contains an ensuite, fan, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, heating and electric blankets. Disabled cabins are available too. The Wilderness Lodge provides all meals including packed lunches. There is a library, swimming pool, and bicycles for loan. Some evening entertainment is provided.
