NSW Countrylink Booking Fee Abolished for Pensioners

12 June 2009

NSW Premier Nathan Rees and Transport Minister David Campbell have announced that the Countrylink booking fee will be abolished for pensioners from July 1.

This decision will mean that Pensioners will be able to use regular economy Countrylink services up to four times a year.

In addition to this, the $1 fare deal for children travelling with adults will become a year-round offer.

These announcements will mean more people using Countrylink and travelling into our country towns.
