Robert's Recipes - Kangaroo Slice
Ingredients
- 100
grams walnuts
- 180
grams chocolate buds
- 400
grams mixed fruit
- 250
grams brown sugar
- 500
grams Self raising flour
- 150
grams coconut
- 4 eggs
- 400 grams
melted butter
Method
Combine all ingredients, mix at medium speed for 3 minutes. Tightly press
into a greased and papered tray. Bake in a fan forced oven at 160 degrees for
twenty minutes. When coolish, tip it out upside down and then paint the top with
melted chocolate (use a pastry brush) and cut into 6x8 slices per tray (48
total).
Please note this makes enough for a tray 30x42 cm - or "JUST" enough for you and
47 friends (48 pieces)!!
