shade cloth blinds to cut out the sun and not the view, our coaches have been
built with you in mind.
Our Coaches also contain
the following safety information on a card behind each seat.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
At the Coach Pick Up
Point:
On the first day of all
tours please ensure you are 15 minutes early.
Sometimes delays can occur. Do not wander off. If you have a mobile phone and
the coach is more than 15 minutes late, please call the number on your boarding
pass, or 02 4966 0465 if you cannot contact the coach.
Coaches have what is called an "over-hang" at the front. Therefore the front of
the coach may "hang-over" the gutter when pulling into bus stops. The coach also
drops at the front to lower the entry for your convenience of entry. Please stay
well back from the roadside while waiting for the coach.
Wait until the coach stops completely before going near the door. Watch for
mirrors and other obstructions near the doorway. Crew will give your seat
allocation and load your luggage, before you enter the coach.
Please advise your crew if you have luggage which is close to breaching our
weight limits.
Whilst we appreciate offers of assistance, it is often easier for the drivers to
load by themselves. If they require assistance they will ask for volunteers.
Riding in the Coach:
Once you have received
your seat allocation, please proceed to your seat. Any heavy bags or items
should go under the seat, and lighter items (eg hats) may be placed in overhead
racks (please ensure they are secured).
Please keep your seatbelt fastened at all times, and do not move around the
cabin whilst the coach is moving.
We maintain the condition of our coaches for your safety, comfort and enjoyment.
If you notice any aspect which does not meet our high standards, please advise
your crew.
Leaving the Coach
Departure points must be
adhered to in the interests of complying with Ministry of Transport Regulations.
Please remain in your seat until the coach has stopped and the driver has opened
the door.
The driver will then lower the door, please do not get onto the steps before the
coach has been lowered.
Make sure you check all your belongings are off the coach before disembarking.
Once you are off the coach, please stand well back to allow others to disembark
safely. Take particular care of mirrors and luggage bin doors which may be open
when moving around outside the vehicle.
Please remove your suitcases from the luggage unloading area as soon as possible
and stand back.
Never try to cross the road before the coach has moved away and you can see
clearly both ways. If someone is meeting you, please ask them to park on the
same side as the coach is going to arrive, but away from the bus stop to enable
to coach to park safely.

the coach.
If emergency services, such as police, fire or ambulance are needed tell them
your exact location, the number of passengers on board and that a coach is
involved.
Stop other passengers from wandering away or onto the road.
WAIT UNTIL HELP ARRIVES.
IN A FIRE
DO NOT PANIC.
