Wednesday, May 26, 2010            Outback Spectacular     5  Days    Book
Pricing:  Tour $1090 PP Single Supplement $319 PP     View Itinerary
There is no place on earth like the Australian outback... and no show on earth like Australian Outback Spectacular!
It’s more than a night out – it’s an experience steeped in courage, tradition, a daring spirit and a unique, laconic sense of humour.
Australian Outback Spectacular is the first show of its kind in Australia – a unique and exciting evening dinner show filled with outback music, drama and action – a night you will never forget.
This unique attraction captures the grandeur of the Australian outback, bringing it to life with spectacular audio and visual effects.
The atmosphere is electric, as every twist and turn of the show features a cast of larger than life characters, magnificent horses, stampeding cattle, camels and an array of rough and ready bush vehicles – even a helicopter!
All of this is accompanied by a stirring musical score composed especially for the show, as well as popular country music composed and written by country music legend Lee Kernaghan.
Australians are famous for their competitive spirit and it’s impossible not to become involved in the story, which revolves around the competition that develops between stockmen and women from rival stations.
Who will you barrack for? The stockmen and women of Warrego Station or Bunya Downs?
Australian Outback Spectacular is a high energy show that demands every participant be well fed. And that applies especially to the audience!
So 40 stockmen and women will serve up a gourmet Aussie feast with beer, wine or soft drink to every member of the audience – all in record time.
Australian Outback Spectacular is an incredible journey to the real heart of Australia! Proudly presented by R.M.Williams.
Northern Highland Travel will take you there, staying in the heart of beautiful Surfer's Paradise. There will be a new feature in the show for 2010 - so watch this space for details.

This five day tour includes two nights on the Gold Coast, and two nights in Coffs Harbour, either side of your experience, as well as tickets to your choice of either: Wet'n'Wild, Dreamworld, Movieworld, or Seaworld.

For an extra $69 per person, you can take a Day trip to see Australia Zoo, worth $99 per person!

Day 2 - Western side of Lake Macquarie for Luncheon Cruise. Our cruise will be on the Wangi Queen Showboat.

The Wangi Queen Showboat has always proven to be a desirable subject for oil painters as well as watercolour artists and artschool sketching groups. Her unique lines and old world design attract model builders and boating enthusiasts to copy and admire her wherever she plies. Her charming presentation remains a remnant of a former age when craftsmanship was paramount. Originally, the Wangi Queen was known as The Ettalong, and operated as a ferry service on the Central Coast’s Brisbane Water. No expense has ever been spared in preserving and maintaining the Wangi Queen to the best possible standards, so that future generations will see and appreciate the finer boatbuilding craftsmanship of that bygone era. This cruise explores the Majestic Lake (the biggest lake in the Southern Hemisphere) as we enjoy lunch with great views over the Lake. Later in the afternoon we commence our journey home arriving back in the Mid North Coast region later in the afternoon.
