Southern Africa (2007)
These are some photos Jenny and Robert took of our Group Tour to Africa in June 2007. We visited South Africa, Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and Chobe National Park in Botswana.

This is our group at the Cape of Good Hope. We had to watch out for the baboons who kept running over to us! |

One of our Friendly Giraffes comes over to say hello. |

There were so many baby elephants in Kruger and Chobe National Parks |

We saw lots of impala, including this one in mid jump! |

This cheetah was hunting one morning, we watched her for a few minutes as she walked in front of the jeep, completely oblivious to us, searching for the scent of prey. |

Victoria Falls was magnificent, lots of water, you even have to have an umbrella or rain coat on the sunniest of days! |

The Voertrekker Museum in Pretoria was a magnificent monumnet to the history of the Boers when they undertook the Great Trek. |

Bourke's Luck Potholes were interesting, and there were lots of lovely little waterfalls you could view. |

This little penguin was spotted on an optional tour to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, however we saw another colony near the Cape of Good Hope. |
