Lawn Hill will be a great tour!!!!!

3 June 2003

We have spent the last couple of weeks travelling around Queensland, from the outback to the Gulf to the Coral Sea. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience, and we are keen to share it with our highlanders. Just to whet your appetite, here is one of the waterfalls that we swam and had a spa in when we were canoeing our way up Lawn Hill Gorge. It was the easiest way to see some of the most spectacular views we have enjoyed in any national park in Australia. We were the youngest paddlers on the river, and it was mostly seniors and/or retirees beating us as we paddled up the river, or let the current wash us back down to the start. There were also some fantastic walks and contemplative spots for those who wished to walk or ponder this magnificent land form. We are also adding the additional optional extra tour out to the World Hertiage Riversleigh Fossils Site with a fully qualified Savannah Guide, for a special price to Highlanders. If you missed out on this year (I think the tour is full), book a seat for next year, or go on our waiting list and hope we have a cancellation. This is definitely not a tour to be missed.
