New Coach Arrives!

24 February 2005

The coach features many innovations, including hearing aid loop for the hearing impaired, two televisions, and a video camera that looks out at the road ahead, so those up the back of the coach get a great view of what is happening at the front of the coach, particularly on town tours, or tours of Factories in the Coach.

The coach has a mural of a fossicker from the Barrington Gloucester area, where Elaine Aitchison came from originally. It is the first in a series of new murals on the coaches to represent the Hunter. Previous coaches all had pictures of the Apsley Falls near Walcha in the Northern Highlands of NSW where the company originated.

The new coach's registration number is NHT004 and it is named after Major Thomas Mitchell, the famous explorer of much of Queensland and NSW.
