Northern Highland Travel Wins NSW Tourism Awards for the Third Time - They are now in the NSW Tourism Hall of Fame

 Family owned and operated Tour Operator and Travel Agent, Northern Highland Travel won the Significant Tour & Transport Category of the NSW Tourism Awards for Business Excellence for the third year in a row last night.
The awards are the peak industry awards for the NSW Tourism Industry, covering all facets of the industry. Entry to the Australian Tourism Awards is only open to State Award Winners.
In accepting the Award, Managing Director Jennifer Aitchison acknowledged the contribution of her staff, family and the Coach and Tourism Industries, saying: ?We are so honoured to have received this award for the third year in a row. We have all worked so hard to achieve our goals, and it as very important that this award continues to be won by a coach tour operator, as the work of our industry is so vital to the economic survival of many regional areas.?
Mrs Aitchison acknowledged the support of passengers in the success of the business. Many of the company?s passengers have been on more than 20 tours with Northern Highland Travel. Their most frequent traveller has been on over 40 tours with the company, of up to 26 days!
The company has won an amazing number of awards this year, covering all aspects of the business. Jennifer Aitchison also won Lower Hunter Business Woman of the Year and an award for her Outstanding Contribution to Tourism in the Hunter this year.
Northern Highland Travel operates domestic coach package tours all over Australia and some international destinations, as well as operating a fully licensed travel agency.
Their luxury coaches are purpose built for touring, and packages include great morning teas, excellent commentary, and a diversity of destinations that many of the larger operators cannot offer. The company has a strong commitment to expanding regional Australian tourism.
Jenny operates the business with her husband Robert, parents-in-law Bruce and Elaine Aitchison and a team of 14 staff.
