Northern Highland Travel - Finalist for Major Tourism & Transport Operator

It was the first time the company had been a finalist in the category, as they have grown from their early days in Walcha!
After being inducted into Tourism NSW's Hall of Fame in 2006, the company has continued to grow. With over 20 staff, the business has become a major tour and transport operator in NSW and the rest of Australia, with Directors involved in many tour and transport government and industry boards and committees.
The winner of the Category was APT's Sydney Day Tours, who have won the category for the last three years in a row.
The other finalist was Qantas Link.
Managing Director Jenny Aitchison thanked her fellow Directors, Bruce, Elaine and Robert Aitchison as well as her dedicated team. She acknowledged the support of Hunter Regional Tourism Organisation, particularly CEO Andrew Fletcher and Marketing Manager Sheridan Ferrier for their assistance in helping the business to grow.
