Sandy Maytom Exhibits at Back to Back Gallery Cooks Hill

Sandy Maytom, Tour Director for Northern Highland Travel is currently exhibiting her work at the back to Back Gallery, in Cooks Hill Newcastle, until the 23 March 2008.
Sandy's works are exhibited as part of "Ritual" a Mixed Media Exhibition by a number of Newcastle artists.
Sandy is exhibiting some of the Lino Cuts she did as part of her Lawn Hill Series, as well as some colour botanicals of a mallee in various stages of its development.
The Lino Cuts are black and white unlike her Cradle Mountain Lino Cuts which featured hand colouring and which were exhibited in the Drawn from Nature Exhibition which is showing at the Newcastle Library until the 22nd of March 2008.
Other artists featured in the exhibition are: Varelle Hardy, Anne Rees, Delilah Van Wyk, Gloria Murphy, and Carmen Mountford.
All of the works are for sale, and represent excellent value, from paintings, to sculptures suitable for holding candles, water and other features, which would make a colourful and meaningful contribution to any decore.
We took a drive to Newcastle last weekend to visit the exhibition and found it quite an interesting display with something for everyone in the family.
