NHT Wins Map Marketing Awards

Family owned and operated Tour Operator and Travel Agent, Northern Highland Travel won the Travel and Tourism Category of the Map Marketing Fastest 100 Growing Businesses in the Hunter for the fourth time last night!
The awards are a great indicator of businesses that are driving the Hunter’s economy. Qualification comes from having the highest turnover percentages over a two year period. All figures are audited.
In accepting the Award, Managing Director Jennifer Aitchison acknowledged the contribution of her staff and the company’s growing base of customers, saying: “We are so pleased to have the support of our local people in helping us to grow our business.”
Many of the company’s passengers have been on more than 20 tours with Northern Highland Travel. Their most frequent traveller has been on over 45 holidays with the company, some of up to 26 days!
Northern Highland Travel operates domestic coach package tours all over Australia and some international destinations, as well as operating a fully licensed travel agency.
Their luxury coaches are purpose built for touring, and packages include great morning teas, excellent commentary, and a diversity of destinations that many of the larger operators cannot offer. The company has a strong commitment to expanding regional Australian tourism.
Jenny operates the business with her husband Robert, parents-in-law Bruce and Elaine Aitchison and a team of 18 staff.
